Maura is a poet whose writing makes you feel something...
her poems have been described as "honest, raw and beautiful" - all compliments that she holds on to on bad days.

From lighthearted funny poems about seagulls and toasties, to ones shining a light on subjects which can often be shrouded in shame, Maura's poetry shares a glimpse into her view of the world.

One thing that gives Maura a unique viewpoint is that she is autistic. She believes that this is responsible for her ability to notice things in the world which often go unnoticed, and that it is partially to thank for her creativity!

Maura is always on the lookout for inspiration and writes for people often...
She writes poems for three main categories of people -
1) People she passes in every day life (these people will never see their poems or even know that they exist but she wishes with all her might that they feel some sort of warmth every time they are shared!)
2) People who buy completely unique, commissioned pieces. These will be available to purchase soon!
3) People who approach her at events and markets. She loves nothing more than writing on the spot and will only ask for a ten minutes of thought before handing you your finished poem!
